Voice Up seeks a Founding Non-Clinical Director (LCSW) to provide strategic leadership, professional mentorship, workforce development guidance, and interdisciplinary collaboration support during the organization's formative growth phase. This position is intentionally non-clinical and does not involve the provision of psychotherapy, clinical supervision for licensure, diagnosis, treatment planning, utilization review, medical necessity determinations, billing oversight, or direct clinical service delivery. Behavioral Health Workforce Innovation & Practicum Development

Primary Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Provide guidance regarding organizational growth and development.
- Advise leadership on workforce development initiatives and emerging opportunities.
- Participate in strategic planning discussions.
- Assist with development of organizational priorities and implementation strategies.
- Support the advancement of mission-driven programming.
Workforce Development and Mentorship
- Provide mentorship and professional development guidance to students, interns, volunteers, and emerging professionals.
- Support workforce readiness initiatives.
- Assist individuals in identifying transferable skills and strengths.
- Encourage reflective professional growth and career exploration.
- Promote ethical leadership and professional accountability.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration
- Participate in meetings with academic, workforce, community, and public health partners as requested.
- Contribute subject matter expertise related to behavioral health workforce issues.
- Assist with partnership development and relationship cultivation.
- Promote collaborative problem-solving approaches.
Program Development
- Review and provide feedback regarding educational materials, workforce development activities, internship structures, and community engagement initiatives.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for program enhancement.
- Contribute recommendations for improving participant engagement and outcomes.
Quality and Ethical Guidance
- Promote ethical, professional, and mission-aligned practices.
- Provide consultation regarding professional standards applicable to workforce development activities.
- Support organizational efforts to maintain quality improvement practices.
- Assist leadership in identifying potential risks and mitigation strategies.
Public Health and Community Engagement
- Provide consultation related to behavioral health and community-based workforce challenges.
- Support community engagement initiatives when appropriate.
- Assist with efforts designed to strengthen community partnerships and workforce pathways.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in good standing.
- Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in behavioral health, healthcare, social services, public health, higher education, workforce development, or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating across multidisciplinary environments.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, professional judgment, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote and flexible environment.

- Support development of nonclinical behavioral health workforce pathways including peer support, care navigation, community health worker initiatives, and behavioral health outreach.
- Assist in identifying appropriate role boundaries between licensed and nonclinical workforce functions.
- Provide guidance regarding participant support and workforce readiness strategies.
Practicum & Reflective Learning Support
- Support development of reflective learning activities and professional identity formation exercises.
- Assist in strengthening practicum and field-based learning experiences.
- Provide guidance related to ethical reasoning, cultural responsiveness, and trauma-informed engagement practices.
- Contribute to participant development frameworks focused on communication, collaboration, and professional growth.
University & Community Partnership Collaboration
- Collaborate with university and community partners connected to public health, social work, behavioral health, and workforce development.
- Support interdisciplinary collaboration and participant engagement strategies.
- Provide consultation regarding student support and community-centered learning environments.
Human-Centered Behavioral Health Innovation
- Provide perspective regarding ethical and human-centered approaches to workforce innovation and emerging technology integration.
- Assist in ensuring participant-centered and community-responsive implementation practices.
- Contribute to discussions related to behavioral health systems, workforce trends, and future workforce preparation.
Strategic & Program Development Support
- Participate in periodic strategic planning and program development discussions.
- Provide input related to participant engagement, ethical considerations, and workforce support strategies.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to strengthen participant experience and workforce readiness.
Required Qualifications
- Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in good standing.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in behavioral health, social work, community mental health, youth services, or integrated care settings.
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, cultural responsiveness, reflective practice, and ethical behavioral health engagement.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
